Sideline out of bounds play. #5 pops out and catches
the inbounds pass from #2. #3 clears to the help-side
wing while #4 pops out to catch the reversal pass from #5.
Once the ball is inbounded, #1 sets a back screen for #2 who
makes a flex cut.
1-4 high play with a down screen by the post. #4 sets
a down screen for #3 to get #3 open. #4 will pop back
to the elbow after the cutter clears. If the ball is
entered to #4, #3 will cut backdoor.
1-4 high wing option play. #1 passes to #2 and makes a
UCLA cut off of #5's back screen. If #1 does not get
the ball back, #1 will go to the corner while #5 will set a
ball screen for #2 to run the pick and roll.
1-4 high post option play. #4 steps out to catch the
basketball. When this happens, #3 will go to the
corner and #1 will look for a handoff. On the help
side, #5 will set a back screen for #2 who makes a shuffle
cut.
1-4 High post option play. #1 enters the ball to #5
and spaces up to the slot while #3 goes to the corner.
#2 will come to the ball looking for a handoff.
If #2 gets the ball back from #5, #4 will drop to the
help-side low post and the pick-and-roll will commence with
#5 screening #2.
