NEVADA-LAS VEGAS (UNLV)

Secondary break run by UNLV. #1 comes off of a back screen set by #5 who then will set a stagger double with #4 for #2.

This was an end-of-clock play UNLV likes to run. It is similar to what Florida and Vanderbilt like to do: pick-and-pop with #4 on top and attack the rim with #1.

In their secondary break, #1 will dribble at #2 to force the backdoor. If #2 does not get the ball on the backdoor, #1 looks to throw the lob pass into #5. #4 dives prior to the pass and #1 will dive after the pass. #2 and #3 spot up on the side opposite #5.

At the end of the clock, UNLV will also look to run an open post pick-and-roll with #5 setting the ball screen for #1.

Off of their secondary break, UNLV will run a pick-and-pop and #2 will cut along the baseline to the opposite corner. #4 will look to throw the lob pass in to #5 and cut rim to set up a post isolation.
